About Phyllis Pavlik Spallone and Tranquil Perspectives

I am married and blessed with a daughter and a stepdaughter and am a lifetime Connecticut resident. I currently own my private counseling practice in Manchester, CT.

I began my career as a Social Worker in 1992 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. Over the following several years, I was fortunate to have achieved several management positions as a full-time Social Worker in skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, home care agencies, hospital emergency room settings, a long term disability insurance company and employee assistance programs. Moreover, with a great passion for understanding human behavior and promoting personal growth, I graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University with a Master of Science Degree in administrative and clinical social work in 1997.

I opened my private practice in 2005, with a true understanding and respect for the reality that it can be difficult to ask for help. My clinical approach in solution-focused: we will work together to identify the undesirable situation or issues and develop an action plan and road map toward optimal resolution.

I also provide dynamic educational trainings, Critical Incident Stress Debriefings and Defusings, and conflict mediation to a wide variety of businesses and private and public agencies.
